The Valerie Plame & Joe Wilson issue was a fake

It's all fake


I have checked sources on both sides of the fence on this one and verfied the tricky language that was used to slam the Bush Administration. I am positive.


Valerie Plame was not an active undercover field agent whose secret identity was revealed. She was not an active field agent. She had formerly had covert status because she worked for a covert group, but she was not herself a covert field agent who's life was indagered due to a "leak". The so called "leak" happened when she was in not in danger whatsover and long after her covert status was expired.


Joe Wilson was not an Ambassedor or even high ranking in the foreign service. He was not sent to IRAQ by Cheney or anyone else on official business to Africa to verify if Sadam had really been seeking to buy uranium for WMD. However, this is exactly how the U.S. media sold him to the public.


His wife Valerie happened to be in the department of the CIA for WMD. Valerie had not been commissioned by her boss to send her hubby to africa on this mission. Valerie proposed that her husband would coincidentally being going to africa on unrelated business and that mabe he could try to verify this issue. Her boss agreed. The CIA did not pay for the trip or send him in any way. His wife sent him. The report he brought back was filed and given a rating of like 3 out of 5 for trustworthiness. That's it!


The headlines read "high ranking diplomat" or "acting ambassedor". The former is false. The only reason the latter is true is because the real ambassedor and his other top staff had left IRAQ at one point due to bombing. He was the only one left in the building and therefore, technically, acting abassedor at one tiny little point in history.

Joe Wilson worked for the Kerry campaign at one point.

Then it becomes easy to see why Scooter Libby obstructed justice in order deflect this smearing attempt. I don't condone obstructing justice, but imagine you are on a pulbic train and a drug adict on walks up to you tries to smear something in your face. In your struggle with him to deflect him, he hurts his leg and starts yelling to everyone that you hurt his leg. He gets an alabi to agree with him on his view of the story. You are late for a meeting and don't want to be harrassed all day. So when an officer asks you if you know some basic information about the event and to fill out a report, you blow off some basic questions that you know will let you walk away quickly and go to your meeting. Later, a prosecuter calls you and accuses you of obstruction of justice. This is about what happened to Scooter Libby.

Joe and Valerie were attention starved want-to-be high ranking diplomats, acted on their own, and with the help of a willing liberal media, slammed the Bush administration in a way it could not fully recover from.
